BAKED POTATO WEDGES



Hi friends, hope you all are doing good. Today I am back with a special snack recipe that you can serve on any special occasion or when you have guests at home or even on regular days with Tea in the evening.

Yes the recipe that I am going to share today is of Baked Potato wedges. These potato wedges are delicious, easy to prepare and need very few ingredients. Another important factor why you need to try this Baked potato wedges is that they are not fried and can be baked in your otg. So this is another Baked recipe that you can try if you have recently bought an otg or want to try an otg/ oven recipe.

This Baked potato wedges is a no fail recipe and even beginners and bachelors can give it a try. So why waste hundreds of rupees or dollars in posh hotels or food joints when you can make this easy peasy recipe of Baked Potato wedges at the comfort of your home. 

Currently everyone at home is a fan of my cooking because of these baked Potato wedges. I get requests often to make this as an evening snack. 

So, note down the ingredients and start baking. This is one recipe you would not like to miss. So whether it is Diwali, Eid or Christmas, this snack will definitely have people wanting for more. 

Ingredients 

6 Potatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp pepper power
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp oregano or mixed herbs
2 tsp corn flour
2 tsp oil

Method 
  • Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into small wedges. 
  • Dab with a clean kitchen towel and allow it to dry completely.
  • Take a bowl and add all the dry ingredients. Mix well and add the potato wedges.
  • Give it a nice mix. Add oil and mix everything well.


  • Now line a baking tray with aluminium foil.
  • I lined the grill rack also with aluminium foil so that we can bake all the potato wedges together.
  • Spread some oil over the foil and line the potato wedges as shown.



  • Place both the baking tray and grill rack inside the otg 
  • And bake at 180 degree C for 25 to 30 minutes with upper and lower rods On.



  • Meanwhile, we can prepare the dip. For this take 2 tbsp Mayonnaise and 2 tbsp tomato sauce and  mix well. Our dip is ready.
  • Once the potato wedges are baked, transfer the potato wedges to a serving bowl and serve hot with the prepared dip.
