How to make pineapple salsa

Ingredients

The ingredients mentioned below use standard measuring cups and spoons.

1 whole medium-sized pineapple cut into 1/2 an ich cubes(2 cups)

1 large onion, chopped into smaller pieces(1/2 a cup)

1-2 green chilies (remove if you want to keep the pineapple salsa sweet and mild)

2 large tomatoes chopped(remove the seeds and use the chunky part of the tomato)

Salt to season

1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder substitute with sweet paprika

2 tablespoons of lime juice(use as needed)

1 small clove of garlic, minced

1 teaspoon of sugar(if your pineapple is slightly raw and lacks sweetness)

You can add any of the other ingredients mentioned above to the pineapple salsa

Method

Chop all the fresh ingredients you need, if assembling later, place them in separate bowls.

If serving immediately, place them in the same bowl.

Season with salt, red chili powder(1/2 tsp, substitute with sweet paprika), garlic(1 small clove minced), lime juice(use as needed).

Combine well. Taste and make adjustments as you need. refrigerate and chill for a few minutes and serve.
